Acne Marlow Mini Dress in Black
The Acne Marlow Mini Dress is a two fabric design with a jersey draped top and a contrast stretch cotton skirt. A sleeveless mini dress, the Marlow has two diagonal pockets to the skirt, a round neck, long keyhole open back and it fastens at the back of the skirt with an exposed zip fastening. There is also a hook and eye fastening to the back of the neck.
The seams across the top of the shoulders are exposed.
The model is wearing a size FR36, which is the equivalent of a UK 8. The dress fits true to size.

This season’s D&G Velvet and Lace Mini Dress is an opulent and luxurious dress which features velvet panels to the bodice and skirt with a sheer lace yoke and lace insert detail to the waist, sides and down the back.
The dress has a round neck with an exposed silver tone zip fastening at the back and it is short, falling to about mid thigh, so perfect for showing off your pins.
Around the waist there is a velvet and lace trimmed belt which has a bow at the front and fastens with a popper at the back.
The dress has an integral black lining and fits true to size.

Alice by Temperley has created two new dresses for the Winter 2011/2012 season which are edgy and romantic, with a certain gothic quality and they are the Ella dress, which is a long gown, and the shorter version, called the Mini Ella Dress

The Alice by Temperley Ella Dress is a pure silk chiffon long v neck gown with short, angel sleeves and a scoop back. The dress has an empire line waist and the waistband and skirt are embellished with silver sequins and bead. The sequins on the skirt form an intricate spiders web design.
The dress has a full slip lining made from polyester and the dress fastenings with a hidden zip fastening at the side.
It fits true to size.

The Alice by Temperley Mini Ella Dress is the shorter version of the Ella dress but the style is quite different.
The Mini Ella dress has long sheer sleeves with silver sequin “web” style embellishment both the the sleeves and the front and back of the body of the dress. The dress is short, falling to above the knee, and it has a scoop round neck and back, but not as low as on the Ella dress. This dress also has a polyester slip lining, and the dress itself is made from pure silk chiffon.
Both dresses would be great to wear on a night out – the long dress is more formal, for a ball perhaps or a red carpet occasion. The mini dress is younger and edgier, and more of a party dress, although still fabulous for a cocktail party. For either dress, try completing the outfit with the Oasis sparkling silver Egg clutch.

This Temperley London Mini Valencia Dress is a pure silk textured nude colour dress, which falls to just above the knee. It has long sheer sleeves with deep ruffles, and sheer ruffle detail to the yoke. The dress has a neat collar with lace edging and button through fastening at the front. The main section of the dress is lined, and it has a self tie bow sash belt around the waist.

AllSaints Bloque Dress in Gold / Petrol
The AllSaints Bloque Dress is a strappy sleeveless dress with a scoop neck and deeper scoop back. The shoulder straps are adjustable. This dress is a mini dress, falling to about mid thigh, and it features all over embellishment with beads and sequins. The embellishments have been sewn on by hand in an abstract graphic colour block pattern. There are large circle bronze sequins in one area, a smaller golden rectangle in another, with zig zag designs againts a sea of petrol sequins. The hem has a broad band of gold sequins.
The dress is fully lined and comes with a calico dust bag.

Style note: AllSaints really excel at the design of sequin and bead embellished party frocks, and I think the Bloque dress has to be one of my favourites. AllSaints Laurentia Mini Dress in Cinder
The AllSaints Laurentia Mini Dress is a long, skinny sleeve lambswool, cotton, angora and cashmere blend dress. Slim fitting and above the knee, the dress features ribbed trim to the cuff, neck and hemline and hand finished braided detail around the neckline, down the centre of the dress, around the waist and down the outer edge of the sleeves.
This dress is the new season version of the AllSaints Summer Laurentia Dress which is still available from the AllSaints Archive. However, the summer version was oversized and made from cotton.

Vanessa Bruno Athé Dresses for the New Season
There are some very cute and seasonal Vanessa Bruno Athé dresses which have now landed and in this article, I’ve picked out my favourites which are on trend with key looks for the new season. my selections are – in no particular order:

Vanessa Bruno Athé Wool Lurex Stripe Dress
The Vanessa Bruno Athé Wool Lurex Stripe Dress (pictured right) is a tunic style mini dress with long sleeves and a scoop neck. Made from a wool blend fabric which is mostly wool, the dress has an all over lurex horizontal stripe finish.
The dress just pops on over the head and is ultra easy to wear and a flattering style. Team it with dark opaque tights like the model on the right, or go for pale tights and a pair of metallic heels for more of a party look – Camilla Skovgaard has some great party shoes for this season.
Vanessa Bruno Athé Jacquard Sweater Dress
The Vanessa Bruno Athé Jacquard Sweater Dress (pictured left) is a chunky knit dress which, like the dress above, just pulls on over the head to fit. Made from a mohair blend fabric, this knitted dress has wide ribbed cuffs and hem and sports long sleeves and a round neck. It is an above the knee dress.
This dress is great for when you want to look gorgeous even on the coldest of days. The jacquard design is a nod to the Navajo trend which is currently a big fashion look and this dress looks fab teamed with heeled leather boots worn over opaque tights.
Vanessa Bruno Athé Jersey Drape Dress in Red
The Vanessa Bruno Athé Jersey Drape Dress is made from a cotton and wool blend jersey fabric in a soft red colour. With long sleeves and a round neck, the dress is a mini style, great for showing off your legs. Features include draping and there is asymmetrical ruching to the hip. .
Like the other dresses in the range, this dress just slips on over the head to fit. I love the draping and the ruching which makes the style dress and interesting, and it would look great teamed with black accessories – black ankle boots, pale tights and a cropped black leather jacket.
