Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Polka Dot Strappy Dress in Navy and White
The Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Polka Dot Strappy Dress is a navy and white spotty stretch cotton dress with two shoulder straps which cross over at the back and an exposed zip fastening to the front. Sleeveless, the dress falles to above the knee and there is bow detail to the left shoulder and contrast navy material to the back.
The dress has two deep pockets at the front, a further two pockets at the back, and the hemline is embellished with subtle pleated trim detail. The dress falls to above the knee.

Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Ruffle Star Wrap Dress in Red
The Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Ruffle Star Wrap Dress is a sleeveless red silk wrap which falls to above the knee. It has a v neck with wide ruffle collar, adorned with contrast printed large purple stars. The remainder of the top is in a deep shade of red with a wrap over and self tie bow detail to the left side.
The skirt is a lighter red to match the ruffle, with smaller purple stars all over and tiered detail above the hemline.

Cocktail Dresses from my-wardrobe.com
my-wardrobe.com have a range of cocktail and party dresses for the new season that will make you look absolutely gorgeous this festive season. Glam and glitter is in the air, inspired by the current desire for everything 1970s. There are sequins and lurex prints in abundance.

If you’re after glitz and glamour though, I’ve picked out three of my own personal favourites for the new season.
Vince Ring Sequin Tunic Dress
The Vince Ring Sequin Tunic, pictured above right, is a tunic which has been embellished all over with large, ring shaped sequins in antique silver and gold. It’s so easy to wear – it just pulls on over the head to fit, and it is fully lined. You can cinch the waist for a different look if you choose. You can also wear the dress on its own, or over leggings so there are lots of options. Don’t expect it to stay on the shelves for long.
Marc by Marc Jacobs Panther Lurex Shift Dress
I’m a fan of Marc by Marc Jacobs anyway, but I have to say, that this lurex panther dress ticks all my boxes. This navy jacquard dress has a funky all over panther design in bronze, making this a shift dress with a difference.
Team it with towering metallic heels and a clutch for an enviable cocktail outfit.
Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Sequin Dress
This Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Dress is perfect for the party season. The all over shiny sequin embellishment gives the dress a great texture and a look of pure luxury, and a simple pair of black heels completes the look perfectly.
I like the multicoloured sequins – they are different shades of purple and black and there is an exposed silver coloured zip fastening centre back. The dress is also a little stretchy for a perfect fit.
Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Striped Sheer Shoulder Dress in Navy and White
This Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Striped Sheer Shoulder Dress is a navy and white dress made from wool with horizontal stripes in navy and white. The dress has a sheer top section, made from black silk organza, with frill detail, that has a button fastening at the back of the neck.
The dress has bracelet length sleeves and is above the knee in length, sitting at about mid thigh. It fits by simply slipping it on over the head. The model in the photo is a size 8 and she is wearing size S.

This Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Polka Dot Dress is a sleeveless A-line shift dress made from a deluxe silk and cotton mix material. This above the knee mini dress is black, with all over white polka dots. The main feature of this dress is the large double bow to the front that is also black, but has smaller white polka dots.
The dress fastens with a single button behind the neck. It fits true to size.

It could also be worn as a cocktail dress depending on how you accessorise it. If you want, you can cinch the waist with a belt or just leave the dress loose. Team with wedge heels and a straw tote for a chic summer ensemble.
