Carven Jacquard One Shoulder Dress
The Carven Jacquard One Shoulder Dress is a cotton blend dress with an all over tribal print in shades of red, yellow, black and off white.
The dress is sleeveless with a concealed side zip fastening. It features a single, wide shoulder which wraps around the back of the dress.
There is gathering to the sides and the bust and the dress features an asymmetric, pointed hemline.
The model, pictured right, is 5’10″ and wearing a size FR36, the equivalent of a UK size 8.
The dress is available in sizes FR36 (UK 8), FR38 (UK 10), FR40 (UK 12) and FR42 (UK 14)

The Carven Lace Insert Tunic Dress is a pure silk dress in this season’s electric blue, with a round neck and sheer black lace insert to the front, back and upper arms.

The Carven Bandage Dress is available either in black, or blue (this season’s new black) and is made from a stretch cotton jersey fabric.
The dress has a wrap front, ruching and gathering to the skirt, short sleeves and it falls to above the knee.
It simply pulls on over the head to fit, and it fits true to size. The model in the photos is a UK size 8 and she is wearing size S.

I love dresses like this where I don’t have to worry about what sort of bra I’m going to wear or whether the straps will show. This dress would look good teamed with either neutral colours or black. I would be tempted to go for a pair of nude heels, such as the stiletto platforms by Sam Edelman – the Novato or the studded Lorissa – as nude gives the illusion that your legs are just that little bit longer.
